Refund Policy
General Policy: All Sales Final
Except as required under the Australian Consumer Law, all payments for services and products are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction with a subjective style or aesthetic preference, or failure to read this policy or our service descriptions prior to booking or purchase.
Deposits, Cancellations & No-Shows
- A deposit of [insert amount/%] is required to secure all bookings. Deposits are non-refundable except where the appointment is cancelled by us.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least [insert number] hours in advance. Requests made after this window forfeit the deposit in full.
- No-shows forfeit the deposit in full and may be required to pay the full service price in advance for any future bookings, at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to refuse future bookings to clients with repeated cancellations or no-shows.
Barbering Services (Haircuts, Beard Grooming)
Barbering is a personalised, skill-based service and results inherently vary with hair type, growth pattern, and client instruction. Once a service is completed, no refund will be issued. If you raise a concern before leaving the premises, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a complimentary correction; this is a courtesy, not an entitlement, and does not apply to changes of mind about a style you requested.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including existing staining, enamel condition, diet, and lifestyle habits, which are explained to you prior to treatment. By proceeding with the service you acknowledge that no specific outcome is guaranteed. No refund will be issued once a session has commenced, regardless of the degree of whitening achieved, except where required under the ACL.
Laser Hair Removal & Laser Tattoo Removal
- These are multi-session treatments. Individual results depend on factors including skin type, hair or ink characteristics, area treated, and the client's compliance with pre- and post-treatment care instructions, none of which we control.
- No refund will be issued for any session already delivered.
- Pre-paid packages are non-transferable and non-refundable once the first session has been used, except where required under the ACL.
- Unused sessions in a package may only be cancelled within [insert number] days of purchase and prior to any session being used; if approved, the refund will be at our discretion, less an administration fee of [insert amount/%], and any package discount will be forfeited (remaining sessions repriced at full single-session rate).
- Packages expire [insert number] months from purchase date. Expired sessions are forfeited and non-refundable.
- A free consultation is available before purchase specifically so you can assess suitability; we are not responsible for outcomes from treatments where the consultation was declined or recommendations from it were not followed.
- Failure to disclose relevant medical history, medications, or skin/tattoo conditions that affect treatment suitability or outcome is the client's responsibility and will not be grounds for a refund.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.
